Memorial Day • May 25, 2015
Rick Henrey was a door gunner in a Huey when his ship was lost in the South China Sea on September 25, 1967.

Rick and seventeen other Santa Ynez Valley men who have given their lives in war were remembered today on a
permanent plaque – dedicated jointly by the valley American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars Posts.

A Memorial Day wreath was presented in remembrance of the eighteen.

This plaque in Solvang Park says it all.

Rick will be remembered always.

A little diversion following the dedication.

We all had the same idea . . . meeting up later at Alisal's River Grill. In Their Memory!

The Santa Barbara News Press covers the dedication.
